The Nuclear AMRC, Cyan Tec Systems and Trumpf invite industry to discover the latest advances in welding technology and explore a state-of-the-art 16kW laser cell.

The Cyan Tec laser cell that was recently installed at the Nuclear AMRC is now driving forward advanced welding applications in industries including nuclear, marine and aerospace.

Join us on 2 October 2018 either the morning or afternoon session to discover its capabilities for yourself.

Open day schedule:

Open day participants will learn about the latest advanced welding techniques, and explore cutting-edge research which is helping UK manufacturers win work at home and worldwide.

The day has been divided into two half-day sessions to meet the needs of busy industry visitors.

You will tour the Nuclear AMRC research facility, and explore the most powerful disk laser system in the UK.

You will have the opportunity to meet Cyan Tec engineers, who design and develop cutting-edge laser systems, as well as Nuclear AMRC engineers using this technology to drive forward the state of the art in laser welding.

The open day will include presentations from the Nuclear AMRC, Cyan Tec and Trumpf teams, who will also be available to offer advanced welding and cutting advice to manufacturers and nuclear decommissioning representatives.

This event is designed for manufacturers who are considering incorporating advanced laser solutions into production lines, as well as nuclear decommissioning organisations who could benefit from the latest advances in laser technology.
