Flatbed Laser Cutting Machine
The Hyperion 3GF is a standard flatbed laser cutting machine which is designed for the high power laser profiling of metal sheets. It is suitable for laser cutting of mild steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, aluminium, copper and other materials up to a thickness of 8 mm with excellent edge quality and reduced kerf width. For non-metals, the laser can be fitted with alternative laser sources, the power and wavelength being chosen to suit the material to be laser cut.
Fitted with a 3 kW solid state fibre laser, the system is compact, efficient, reliable and economic. Additional component fixturing, machine vision, nesting software and automation can be offered to enhance the capability of the standard machine.
Servo motors and high precision ballscrews, give the best combination of speed, acceleration and contouring accuracy. Motion system layout allows a combination of maximum cutting area with minimum machine footprint – the compact laser source being built in to the machine frame, to further reduce the overall volume of the machine.
